The PTO was able to add approximately $2,000 to the Chairs Fund from the Strawberry Sale! The Strawberry Fundraiser seems to have been well received, but we'd like your input as to whether it is something that you'd like to see again next year. Personally, I found it to be a bit of a struggle to sell 5 flats, but once those beautiful berries were delivered, everyone was wishing they had ordered more (myself included)! What was your experience?
I made a short 5 question survey with the hope of getting some feedback about your experience with the berry sale! The survey is super simple and will only take a second, but it will play a significant role in our decision about repeating the Strawberry Sale next year. Click here to link directly to the survey, or click the "Share Your Feedback" tab above. (Feel free to catch up on any Feedback Surveys you may have missed while you're there!)
As always, we would like to give much thanks for your hard work and dedicated support for Charleston Elementary School; our children, teachers, & staff; and the PTO. We absolutely could not accomplish all we do without our school parents, families, and friends.
We had a great time at the Strawberry Party Friday, March 20th! Students that sold a total of 5 flats of strawberries were invited to fill up on Strawberry Shortcake, participate in a berry stomp, and watch Mrs. Grannan & Mrs. Trish get a pie in the face!
Congratulations to our top 3 strawberry sellers: Keely Brock, Hayden Dixon, & Jacob Breenan. Not only did each of the top 3 strawberry sellers win $50 cash, but they also won the honor of being "Pie Throwers" at the Strawberry Party! Ms. Pitts' class was the top selling class, and they won a $50 gift card for classroom supplies and/or a class party!
Stay tuned! Our next post will be a sneak peek at the Strawberry Party festivities! We had a Shortcake Eatin', Whipped Pie Throwin', Strawberry Stompin' Good Time!
