The 2014 Fall Auction Festival was a hit!
We can't thank all of our teachers, administrators, and volunteers enough for embracing this event, filling in where needed, and pulling through just when we needed you! Without these wonderful and giving CES family members, our annual festival would not be possible!
We are learning as we go! Now that I have time to reflect on what I could have done differently, I am realizing I wish I had some pictures to post here! Perhaps next year, I will set up a digital photo booth with props so we can add a slideshow to this page. Of course, parents would be welcome to snap some shots on their phones too!
I plan on continuing to make contacts in the corporate world as the year progresses. Some business/organizations, like the Titans, Vols, Wilderness at the Smokies, Disney World, Bush Gardens, etc., want 3-4 months advanced notice for donations. I figure if I keep plugging away, by fall festival next year, we will have some really awesome items to auction off.
Can you think of anything that might have made the event run a little smoother? Or is there a particular booth or activity you'd like to see at our next fall festival?
